Access to HEIMS applications
All users must be registered and have their own log on ID and password to access the HEIMS applications and report data to HEIMS. Please read the terms and conditions of access carefully before signing your request form. To request access please complete the Access to department systems form and send it to HEIMS.datacollections [at] dese.gov.au.

HEIMS applications upgrade
From 1 October 2018 the department will disable SSL 2.0/ SSL 3.0, TLS 1.0/1.1 and use TLS 1.2 instead for all HEIMS web applications and web services. Using TLS 1.2 protocol will enhance the security of information communicated over the Internet and will reduce the risk of potential for future protocol downgrade attacks and other TLS 1.0/1.1 vulnerabilities not specific to department's implementation. For more information on how to upgrade to TLS1.2 refer to HEIMS Applications Upgrade – TLS guide.
