We would like to encourage you to join us for our comprehensive verification workshops that will enable us to work collaboratively towards the goal of high quality, timely higher education and VET FEE-HELP data.
Following the issuing of the 2013 Ministerial Notice, this reporting requirement will now be formalised under the Higher Education Support Act 2003.
Maureen Wood and members of the Tertiary Information Management and Analysis team will be presenting on a number of topics to help you make most of the tools and processes used in verification. The Higher Education and VET FEE-HELP teams will also be joining us to clarify how the data you report is used by the department in the management of the HELP program and in the department’s publications.
We will review the current reports in HEIMS Online and look at how they can help you streamline your data administration processes to enable quality data to be consistently reported to the department. We will also look at the new HEIMS Online reports to be released in late March, in time for the verification of 2011 full year data which commences on 15 April 2012.
For those of you unfamiliar with Canberra we have included a map with the 16 Mort Office and nearby parking.
The TIMAS team will be available in the afternoon to assist you with any general reporting or HEPCAT issues you may be experiencing, particularly in relation to your final 2011 submissions which are due on 31 March 2012.
To enable us to finalise catering arrangements please advise the HEIMS team of your attendance no later than Monday 5 March:HEIMS.datacollections@DEEWR.gov.au
Don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any queries relating to the workshop.
