13. If a student receives the language loan and does the language study but for some reason cannot complete the main study program is there a consequence, e.g. language loan must be paid back?

A: No. If a student receives a supplementary amount for OS‑HELP language study but is unable to undertake the related study in Asia the student will not be required to pay the language study amount back to the university. The student has incurred the debt for this OS‑HELP assistance which they then repay through the standard processes for repaying HELP debts.
