12. Does there have to be 6 months between a language payment and the non-supplementary loan?

A: There doesn't need to be six months between a student's language study and their study in Asia. However, each supplementary amount relates to a specific OS‑HELP study period and there must be six months between two OS‑HELP study in Asia periods. The language study can be undertaken immediately before, or in some cases during, the six-month study period of the overseas study. Payment of the loan for overseas study and the supplementary amount for language study can be at the same time, or can be as two separate payments.
