Classification
Description (detailed)
A code which identifies whether a student had commenced and/or completed the final year of secondary education at a high school, technical high school, secondary school or secondary college; and the year in which the student completed the final year of secondary education.

A commencing student who for the final year of secondary education at a high school, technical high school, secondary school or secondary college:

| 100 | did not do final year |
| 2YY | did final year and completion of final year of secondary education was in year YY |
| 999 | there was no information on prior secondary education course at school |
Coding notes
YY is replaced by two digits indicating the last year in which the student completed the final year of secondary education at school (e.g. "81" would indicate 1981).
Code as "99" if no information is available for YY.
