Description
A code which identifies whether a student had commenced and/or completed a TAFE award course (other than a Associate degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma course); and the last year in which the student was enrolled in such a course.

A commencing domestic student who for a TAFE award course (other than a Associate degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma course undertaken at a TAFE college or technical college):

Coding notes
YYYY is replaced by last year in which the student was enrolled in a TAFE award course (other than a Associate degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma course undertaken at a TAFE college or technical college). If no information is available for year, code as "29999" or "39999".
If data are reported for overseas students, DESTPAC will identify such students using Element 358 (Citizen/resident indicator) and will ignore the data during edit validations and the data for them will be re‑coded as "00000" when data are loaded to DEST's database.
*If data other than "00100" are reported for non‑commencing domestic students, DESTPAC will ignore the data during edit validations.
