Classification
Description (detailed)
A code which identifies whether a student had commenced and/or completed a Diploma or Associate Diploma course done at a CAE, university, teachers' college, institute of technology, institute of advanced education, institute of tertiary education or some other institution; and the last year in which the student was enrolled in such a course.

Coding notes
YY is replaced by two digits indicating the last year in which the student was enrolled in a prior sub‑degree course (not at TAFE) (e.g. "81" would indicate 1981).
Code as "99" if no information is available for YY.
